We are looking for our new venture capital partner to lead and be the primary, internally responsible for the capitalization of our portfolio companies. This entails driving the value creation, capital structures, and development of the portfolio companies – from early-stage concept to final exit. You will provide assistance at liquidity events at our portfolio companies.

You will participate in portfolio companies’ boards (when and where relevant), with a strong focus on value creation, funding strategy, and capitalization.

Responsibilities:

• Leading and hands-on driving capitalization strategy and processes for our portfolio companies – early-stage startups (capital allocation, M&A, fundraising, and exit preparation)

• Building relationships with potential capitalization and exit partners (VC funds, PE funds, etc.)

• Performance management and reporting of metrics from portfolio companies

• Sparring partner to our portfolio companies’ leadership teams (often co-funders)

• IR (Investor relations)

• Capability Building in KRING (processes, tools, templates, skills, systems, playbooks)

Requirements:

• Vast hands-on experience from working with capital structures, venture capital, and fund-raising processes

• Experience with exits and/or M&A

• Negotiation skills and experience from capitalization processes

• Experience working with start-up founders and start-up companies

• Big network within VCs, Family Offices, BAs, BA networks, and public funds

• Experience with Board work

• Strong communication skills (writing and oral) and networking

• High personal drive motivation, entrepreneurial drive

• Well-versed in start-up metrics

• Have interest and/or knowledge from at least one of our two focus areas; “Health & Well-being” and/or “Clean sustainable Energy”
