Welcome to our new Venture Partner, Søren Grønborg Thorsen

We’re excited to welcome Søren Thorsen to the KRING core team as our Venture Partner for building our next health ventures within our KRING Speedbooting 2022 fund and managing our existing portfolio.

With its latest Impact Fund, KRING Speedbooting 2022, KRING now has the strength to act as the lead investor in the scaling phase of the new digital impact ventures being built in collaboration with visionary co-founders and partners through KRING Speedbooting’s innovation and co-creation process and platform.

Positive progress has been achieved in one of the fund’s two impact areas, SDG3 (Health and Well-being), and the first companies are soon ready for the scaling phase. The fund’s second focus area, SDG7 (Sustainable Energy), will commence in 2024.

Søren Thorsen adds,

Søren will primarily focus on strengthening value creation in each company and the entire KRING Speedbooting process from “Think Big, Start Small, Scale Fast” to the company’s exit. This will be done in close collaboration with co-founders and KRING’s Venture Building team. He will also play a central role in enhancing the scaling phase by improving business processes and developing new financing models, establishing co-investment partnerships with other investment funds. In addition to this, Søren will be responsible for the entire fund administration.

Søren Thorsen joins as the Finance Director and Venture Partner.
